Last evening Stellafly threw a party at the Richard App Gallery to celebrate friends and a fantastic 2011. Creative friends, client friends, media friends and non-profit friends all gathered together to celebrate the holiday season.
Local Chef Tommy FitzGerald‘s put out a beautiful display of food. Huge marinated shrimp surrounded the ice sculpture made by our friends at Ice Sculptures Ltd. Sparkly, delightful cupcakes came from Stiletto Sweets. Bars by Butch brought the liquor license and poured PBR on tap, Eggnog, Jameson, and Patron just to name a few.
Local DJ Zach Bletz started the party off. At 9, Todd Ernst took the party back to his Alternative A to X days at The Orbit Room. Mustard Plug’s Colin Clive transitioned into his set by going retro as well. Marcel Thibert, Vizidef Display Technology, set up media displays throughout the gallery that rolled streaming images and videos shot throughout the year. Rich and Angela Haralson stopped by with the Grand Rapid Bar Crawl dropping off 20+ partiers donned in Santa and other festive holiday wear. Local ‘fly on the wall’ artist, Anthony Carpenter sketched folks making the most merry of merries.
We want to acknowledge and thank the following businesses for donating some truly fantastic raffle items: Doorganics, myKakes, Wolverine Company Store, Humane Society of West Michigan, Cathy Bissell, Nexus Digital Signage/Great Lakes Narrow Cast, House of Color and Design LLC and Tommy FitzGerald Chef. The proceeds from each donated item go to the charity of the donor’s choice.
An exhilirating, roller coaster of a year is coming to an end. We sincerely enjoyed spending an evening with those that have shown us so much support through our transition. On behalf of our team at Stellafly, we look forward to an exciting and bright 2012! Cheers!
